- In January 2012, chef Wilson Wang, won the award for Best Chef People’s Choice. He came in 2nd place in the Iron Chef Judges Choice competition. His dish included four varieties of seafood: Alaskan King crab, caviar, oyster and scallop.

- In late January 2007, despite being opened only three weeks, Baba Sushi’s chef & owner, Wilson Wang, competed against top chefs from over 40 restaurants, and won the Worcester’s Best Chef 2007 award.

Owner and chef master of Baba Sushi, Wilson Wang, was awarded 9th place at the annual Top 100 Chinese Restaurant Awards Show in Santa Clara, California.
